Well, my EDC Johnson webpage was broken, for lack of a better word, but now it is back and better than ever. It WILL be better is my hope. I’m not big on new year resolutions, but I am going to make a concerted effort to work on my internet presence this year. If you follow my exploits on my facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/EDCJohnson you know that time to write is a toughie for me, so time for online posting is not a priority. I hope to post more frequently on this blog, on my facebook, and on twitter. Okay, everyone, cross your fingers!
If you are an amateur blogger and have WordPress issues like me here is a link to a guy tremonty89 I found on Fiverr. (And just in the case you don’t know what Fiverr is, you should totally check it out. It’s a site where people will do odd jobs for you, many in some form of digital format, for only $5) He fixed my WordPress issue and didn’t charge me until after it was solved. Yes, for only 5 dollars. Seriously find a web host willing to do that.
Anyway, I am wishing you all the best for the New Year and that you strive to reach new goals as well. After all goals are what keep us moving forward with something to look forward to.
Here’s a cute pic of my precious daughter from New Year’s Eve.
Check out our Book Review Blog: Science Fiction and Such
I wanted to let all of you know why I haven’t been posting much of anything as of late. Well, a friend (Liz) and I have been working on launching a book review blog called Science Fiction and Such. Working as a team we went through a great deal of debate to make it a good meld of our personalities and want for a review blog. I would love you you to check us out at http://sciencefictionandsuch.com/
We will review most genre of science fiction novels including YA but will stray away from erotica since we believe in keeping a clean as possible platform for our readers and the young adults in their lives. We hope to touch on other topics such as TV, movies, costuming and more.
Check out this fun fan video of the panel at the Cassandra Clare-Clockwork Princess Book Signing w/ ‘City Of Bones’ Lily Collins As Clary Fray. If you enjoy hearing from the author herself this is worth the watch.

If you haven’t seen this video you have to watch this! In their self esteem promoting tradition Dove has produced a series of “Real Beauty Sketches” videos. These videos follow a sketch artist as he creates portraits of women describing themselves behind a privacy screen. After the woman leaves someone she has met earlier then describes her to the sketch artist from behind the screen. You simply will be amazed by the result!
Watch this, facebook it, share it with a woman you care about!

I wasn’t feeling top notch today and spent a lot of time laying on the couch. My husband had a new cable provider installed the other day and I must say I hadn’t realized how much I missed the SYFY channel. During the school year I don’t watch very much TV, except for my DVRed shows, so summertime is kind of fun to catch up on what I’ve been missing. A lot of movies today but I can’t wait to watch the Haunted Collector and some other newer shows I haven’t seen. I can’t believe I totally missed the second season of FACE OFF. As an artist, with a minor in theatre, I have to express my absolute love for that show. It is simply amazing. I could see a second career in that :). Well, I, and my husband, have been trying to resolve some issues with the print version of my novel. It should be back in the publisher’s hot little hands by tomorrow…Tuesday at the latest.

For now, please check out the new info on the site for Moonflower. I really look forward to hearing from you as well so do please leave comments or contact me through the “Contact” page.
